Dye Fore opens in La Romana

La Romana?s newest golf course, Dye Fore opens to the general public today, 21 April. Casa de Campo is promoting the new golf course as a worthy contender to the fame of Teeth of the Dog, the first of four Casa de Campo courses.
Both courses are designed by Pete Dye, with Teeth of the Dog flush with the sea and Dye Fore some 500 feet above the Chavon River. ?Dye Fore has spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea, the mountains, the Chavon River below and the Altos de Chavon artists? village,? said Gilles Gagnon, director of golf at Casa de Campo. ?Visually, the course is intimidating and the par 3?s are incredible! Although very playable from the forward tees, this course will stand the test of time as it measures over 7,800 yards from the back tee?s.?
Green fees for Dye Fore will match those of the Teeth of the Dog at US$196 ? including tax, per player per round.
