Doubling government customs revenues

The director general of Customs, Vicente S?nchez Baret, highlighted that in two years and nine months in government, President Hipolito Mejia has collected revenues of RD$57 billion, an amount that he says was similar to the total collected by the government of his predecessor, former President Leonel Fernandez, during his entire term of office. S?nchez Baret attributed the increase to administrative efficiency. He made the observation on Sunday?s Aeromundo TV show on Channel 9.
