Dominican words in Royal Academy Dictionary

Over 300 words typically used in the Dominican Republic have made it into the Royal Academy of the Spanish Language Dictionary, the ?official? dictionary for the Spanish-speaking world. Alicia P?rez Guerra, the first woman to become a member of the Dominican Academy of Language, over three months of hard work, compiled a list of Dominicanisms to be included in the next edition of the Diccionario de la Real Academia de la Lengua Espa?ola. Words like ?Mang??, ?Chiripa?, ?Concho?, and ?tiguere? will be there for all the world to appreciate.
