Price Smart announced the closing of its store located in the eastern side of Santo Domingo at Carretera Mella on 15 June. The company operates another store on Avenida Charles Sumner in Santo Domingo and another on Avenida Estrella Sadhal? in Santiago. The store is the largest to announce closure. Many shopping centers are losing stores. Stefanel, the main store at Diamond Mall in Arroyo Hondo also closed recently. Several other stores in that mall have closed down.
