Hoy newspaper reports that the final vote count of the PLD primaries shows that former President Leonel Fern?ndez won 417,102 of the 493,284 votes issued, or 87.19%. Former Vice President Jaime David Fern?ndez received 48,807 votes, or 12.32% of the total. Other candidates took lesser portions, with Ram?n Andres Blanco receiving 599 votes, Miguel Solano, 258 and Juli?n Serulle 1,437. The primaries were held last Sunday, 29 June nationwide and voters participated at 1,591 voting stations.
