The organizers of the Dominican Republic Jazz Festival of Puerto Plata announce that tickets for the event are already for sale online and in Puerto Plata. The schedule for the popular north coast musical event includes Jose Furito Rios & Cuatro (Puerto Rico), Puerto Plata Jazz Ensemble (Dominican Republic) for the opening night at the Hotel Sosua Bay in Sosua, on Wednesday, 1 October. The music continues on Thursday, 2 October in Cabarete Beach with the presentation of Patricia Pereyra (Dominican Republic) and US blues groups. Both the Sos?a and the Cabarete jazz nights are free.
The action then passes to Playa Dorada (Puerto Plata) with the presentation of Chichi Peralta on Friday, 3 October and Chucho Valdes and Mezcla (Cuba) for US$20 the evening. Scheduled for the closing evening are Arturo Sandoval (USA), Sistema Temperado (DR) and Humberto Ramirez (Puerto Rico).
