Only 10% aware of IMF requirements

Diario Libre reports that only 10 of every 100 Dominicans are aware of the content of the negotiations between the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the government. Despite all the brouhaha, few people know what the IMF demands entail, and few are willing to give an opinion on whether an agreement would be of benefit or detriment to the country. According to the survey, comprehension of this issue in urban areas is around 15%, while in rural areas it is as little as 5%.
