TD6 becomes a wave

Tropical Depression No. 6, which was headed in our direction, has been downgraded by the National Weather Office to the status of tropical wave. The agency recommended that people maintain a certain watchfulness, however, due to the possibility of heavy rainfall and flooding of low-lying areas. At the time of the announcement, Jos? Guerrero of the weather department said that the wave was traveling at 39 kilometers per hour and winds at 55 KPH. If the wave were to shift slightly to the north, the southern areas of the Dominican Republic could see heavy rains and gusts of high winds.
