Mark Travel Corporation promotes DR

Hans Dannenberg, director of the Puerto Plata Hotel Association, says that the Mark Travel Corporation is extremely confident about the upsurge of business on the North Coast and announced its plans to
reintroduce its presence there. Last year alone the company booked 2.6 million US travelers, sending them primarily to Mexico, Hawaii, Las Vegas and Europe, through its various vacation companies. These affiliates include Adventure Tours, ATA
Vacations, AeroMexico Vacations, Blue Sky Tours, Funjet Vacations, MexSeaSun, MGM MIRAGE Vacations, Mountain Vacations, Showtime Tours, Southwest Airlines Vacations, TMTC International, Town and Country Tours, TransGlobal Vacations, Travel Charter,
US Airways Vacations and United Vacations, among others. Claudio A. Zboznovits, marketing director for the company, told Hoy newspaper that from September to December of this year, the company will put 60,000 tourists on direct flights from Milwaukee
to the Dominican Republic. In addition to Puerto Plata, Mark Travel tourists will also be heading for the beaches of the East Coast.

Zbznovits recently visited Puerto Plata, Playa Dorada, Maim?n, Cofres?, Sos?a and Cabarete to inspect the hotels there. He expects 7,000 to 8,000 tourists to choose Puerto Plata as their vacation destination and
