The Ministry of Industry & Commerce authorized a RD$40.33 price per gallon of diesel fuel. Meanwhile, the leading union of truckers, Fenatrado, announced that transport prices would also rise. Diesel was up RD$0.96 per gallon,
with premium diesel costing RD$42.57 — up RD$1.00 from the previous price of RD$41.57.
A gallon of unleaded premium gasoline is selling for RD$64.07, regular unleaded gasoline for RD$57.17. Propane gas sells for a record RD$25 per gallon.
