Johnny Bernal, president of Hotelera Naco, S.A., made the announcement. Bernal is also the president of the National Hotel & Restaurant Association. Choice Hotels operates in Santo Domingo via the El Salvador Grupo Real, which holds the rights to the
franchise for Central America and the Dominican Republic.
