Four at once

Hoy reports on the successful multiple births in Santiago?s Regional University Hospital Jos? Cabral y B?ez. Three boys and a girl were born to 20-year-old Zulaika Rivera C?spedes after undergoing a c-section at a gestation of
35 weeks. One of the boys is in the neonatal care unit of the Uni?n M?dica del Norte Clinic in Santiago, but the other three are at their mother?s bedside at the public hospital.
According to the doctors, this is the first quadruple birth in 20 years, and they attributed the achievement to the pre-natal care that the mother received. Dr. Luis Grull?n Estrella and Dr. Nelson Grull?n Estrella were in charge of the pregnancy.
Both mother and father work for the Ministry of Public Works in Santiago. The woman had undergone fertility treatments, as they were hoping to have a little boy to go with their four-year-old daughter.
