Decamps & Subervi say JCE committed forgery

The president and secretary general of the PRD are protesting the decision made by Chamber of Disputes of the Central Electoral Board (JCE) on 22 December that outlawed the convention convened by Hatuey de Camps. De Camps and Rafael Subervi Bonilla say they could take the members of the JCE to court for forging public documents and making decisions that violate the electoral laws and the Constitution. As reported in the Diario Libre, Subervi Bonilla, as secretary of the PRD party, said that the Chamber of Disputes based its decision to overturn the legality of the primary won by Hatuey de Camps using a list of members of the National Executive Committee of the party that differed from the one he signed as secretary general on 14 November. He said that on the NEC document validated by the JCE appeared names of people who are dead, such as Luz Carolina Mainardi Cuello and PLD member Isabel Bonilla, and names of PRD who attended the meeting, such as Rafael Gamundi Cordero, Henry Mejia and Noe Subervi Bonilla, were excluded. The JCE has been accused of being partial to the PPH-PRD faction of President Hipolito Mejia.
