The newspapers report that former United States President George Bush Senior and father of the current US President, will arrive in the country today on a private visit to the Casa de Campo vacation complex in La Romana. He is the guest of Venezuelan magnate Gustavo Cisneros, and it is believed that he is also scheduled to meet with President Hipolito Mejia, although the location of this appointment has not been revealed. The former US President will be staying for four days, almost a year to the day since his previous visit in which he visited Isla Saona (National Park of the East), played golf and was honored by President Hipolito Mejia at the Presidential Palace.
