Free Trade talks resume

Talks resumed today in Washington, DC on the Dominican free trade agreement
with the United States. The negotiating team of 20 officials is being
accompanied by more than 100 businesspeople for these final talks. According to
a story in El Caribe?s economic section, the Dominican Republic could well
become a commercial bridge for the entire Caribbean region. The official signing
of the document is scheduled for April or May, after the texts are officially
translated to the satisfaction of both parties.
