President Hipolito Mejia returned yesterday via private jet at the San Isidro Air Base after a three-day re-election campaign tour that took him to Miami and New York. Hoy newspaper reports that he was welcomed back by Vice-President Milagros Ortiz Bosch and the chiefs of the military, Armed Forces Minister Lieutenant General Jose Miguel Soto Jimenez, Armed Forces head Major General Jorge Radhames Zorrilla Ozuna, Navy head Rear Admiral Euripedes Uribe Peguero and Mayor General Virgilio Sierra Perez of the Air Force.
