The Brazilian football team, which includes stars Roberto Carlos and Ronaldinho, flew in to Santo Domingo on the presidential plane that also brought President Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva to attend the inauguration of President Fernandez. The team is staying in Santo Domingo at the Santo Domingo V Centenario Intercontinental Hotel, before departing tomorrow to Haiti where they will compete for peace in that nation in a charity game. Brazil has a leading role in the peacekeeping forces in Haiti and has offered to exchange tickets to the game for the turning in of arms. Presidents Leonel Fernandez and Lula Da Silva are expected to attend the team?s practice game at 3pm at the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Stadium on 27 de Febrero. Tickets to the game are being sold at the venue.
