The nights of Playa Dorada have a new option — Mangu discotheque. The concept has proven very successful in Punta Cana since it opened three years ago at the Occidental Flamenco resort. Now Occidental hotel chain has replicated the concept, opening the northern version at the Occidental Allegro Jack Tar Village. Pablo Diaz, marketing director for Occidental describes Mangu as a disco-bar. The disco is located adjacent to the Jack Tar Village casino. The Playa Dorada Mangu has capacity for 500 persons. Bachata, salsa, merengue can be heard side by side with the top 40 hits. Mangu?s success is in its animation team, where clowns, magicians and even robots appear from nowhere and everywhere to ensure a fun evening for all.
