The National Drug Control Department (DNCD) announced the arrest of US citizen Edward Zeminski in Sosua, Puerto Plata, as reported in Diario Libre. The department said that Zeminski had residing in the DR for two years, fugitive of the US justice. In September 2002, an arrest order was issued for him. He was arrested at a Sosua aparthotel. He is accused of violating article 7 of the penal code of the US on banking fraud.
