More energy than ever

The deficit of energy production was reduced to just 9.8% last week as AES-Andres came on line with 300 megawatts. On Friday, the electricity supply reached 93% of the demand. This was the best day in a long time for consumers, but it did not mean that there were no blackouts. These, however, were reduced to just three to five hours, a major improvement from the 15-hour blackouts some areas were experiencing in previous weeks.
