Listin Diario reports that the Police, accompanied by the National Drug Control Department (DNCD) opened a safety box and found US$2.5 million in cash, property titles, a forged passport in the name of Luis Anibal Rodriguez, with the photograph of Luis Eduardo Rodriguez Cordero (Eduardito), who had contracted the box from a private security company. The Police also revealed that they found inside the same safe a property title in the name of Bladimir Andres Garcia. Bladimir Garcia and Luis Eduardo Rodriguez Cordero (Eduardito) were recently arrested on drug trafficking charges in the US. They are investigated for ties to former army captain Quirino Paulino Castillo, also on arrest in the US. The findings were confiscated by District Attorney prosecutors.
