The Police says it has recovered 741 vehicles, 50 luxury SUVs, 103 pick ups, 27 trucks, 3 minibuses and 23 motorcycles that had been stolen since 16 August. As reported in the Listin Diario, the Police now uses a new system to register the reports of stolen vehicles, in order to not repeat the scandalous clandestine allotting of recovered vehicles to police officers as happened under the previous police chief.
