Earth from the Air in Santo Domingo

Photographer Yann Arthurs-Bertrand?s inspiring Earth from the Air photography exhibition will be exhibited in Santo Domingo from 22 April to 22 June at an outdoor gallery set up in the Independence Park in Colonial Santo Domingo. 100 air photographs from all around the planet

The French photographer, Yann Arthus-Bertrand has assembled the stunning collection of aerial photographs that illustrate the beauty and fragility of the natural world. It took him over 14 years of fieldwork, flying over 76 countries and 100,000 shots to capture the astonishing images. Each one tells a story of its own. The exhibition will also feature a walk-on map of the world, so visitors can see where the photographs were taken, as well as jump from country to country.

The Ministry of Culture, APEC University, the city of Santo Domingo, and the ministries of Environment and Tourism are sponsoring the exhibition. A preview of the exhibition will be presented on 30 March at 7:30 pm at the auditorium of the UNAPEC at Av. Maximo Gomez.
