15 more days to get “la revista”

The government has given car owners a further 15 days to get their “revista”. The 2005 sticker costs RD$45 pesos. Long lines of cars have queued up at the centers issuing the document. Rafael Tobias Crespo, in charge of the DGTT, says that the stickers are available all year round and urged that car owners not leave the renewal to the last minute. Car owners scrambled to get the stickers when AMET officers started detaining drivers. A penalty of RD$150 is issued to those in defect.
