Impressive Dominican air photographs

Twenty Dominican photographs are part of photographer Yann Arthurs-Bertrand?s inspiring traveling ?Earth from the Air? photography exhibition that will be shown in Santo Domingo from 22 April to 22 June at an outdoor gallery set up in the Independence Park in Colonial Santo Domingo. The Dominican photographs will be featured along with the stunning collection of aerial photographs from other parts of the world that illustrate the beauty and fragility of the natural world.

The French photographer flew over the Dominican Republic and Haiti from 19th to 23rd of February 2005.

It took him over 14 years of fieldwork, flying over 76 countries and 100,000 shots to capture the astonishing images. Each one tells a story of its own. The exhibition features a walk-on map of the world, so visitors can see where the photographs were taken, as well as jump from country to country.
