Supreme Court had nothing to do

Supreme Court Judge Jorge Subero Isa said that the Court had nothing to do with the design, construction and equipping of the new building, as reported in the Listin Diario. He said that the Supreme Court has not even received an inventory of the furniture of the building.

Subero’s statement comes after lawyer Marino Vinicio Castillo said on his TV program La Respuesta that former army captain Quirino Ernesto Paulino Castillo had lent money for the purchase of furniture for the court. Paulino, in jail in New York, faces justice in the US and DR on drug smuggling charges.
