Grades are in

The Supreme Court published a report card today. The Director General of the Civil Service (in the Justice Department) reported the results of the tests given to the 94 candidates for seats in the Formation Courses for the office of Public Defender, a new post created by the new Penal Code inaugurated last October. The individual scores were listed for academic merit, oral and written skills. Those that scored 75 or higher will be allowed to continue on to the second phase of the selection process at the National School of Justice later on this month. Of the 44 that passed the test, the highest score was 93.74 and the lowest was 75.15. Of the 50 that failed the first phase of testing the lowest score was 20.63 and the highest was 74.45. The names of those that did not pass were not listed to protect them from further pain.
