President Leonel Fernandez condemned the terrorist attacks Thursday morning in London, where 37 people were killed and 345 injured in a sequence of explosions in subways and buses of the public transit system. Listin Diario reports that a message issued through the Ministry of Foreign Relations, the President expressed “in the name of the Dominican people and government, his profound sorrow for the unhappy terrorist events that have put pain and mourning in the streets of London, caused by the loss of human lives, injuring hundreds of defenseless citizens, and provoking insecurity and fear in the population.” Fernandez demanded the eradication of violence in the world as a means of adjusting differences and conflicts of any nature.
