Luis Medrano’s traditional Merengazo festival has moved to Puerto Plata this year, and opens tonight at the Coliseo amphitheater at the Hotel Hacienda Resort in Cofresi. This festival is the fourth of its kind and lasts until Sunday. Highlights will include performances by Rubby Perez, Palo Tipico, Bonny Cepeda, Los Potros, Krisspy, Fernando Villalona, Sergio Vargas, Los Rosario and Los Toros Band.
