Travel & Leisure travelers answering the magazine’s online survey ranked Casa de Campo tops in the Caribbean in three of eight categories. Casa de Campo ranked first in golf in the Caribbean in the 2005 World’s Best Golf Resorts ranking of Travel & Leisure Magazine. Casa de Campo scored first above runner-ups Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall of Jamaica and Tucker’s Point Club of Bermuda in the category of Best Golf Resort. In the category of Best Resort Course, Casa de Campo’s “Teeth of the Dog” was also first, with White Witch of the Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall in Jamaica second, and the Hyatt Dorado Beach in Puerto Rico, third. Casa de Campo ranked second in the category of Best Resort for Buddy Trips, Casa de Campo ranked second to Hyatt Dorado Resort in Puerto Rico. Bahamas’s One&Only Ocean Club was third.
The Travel + Leisure Golf’s World’s Best Golf Resorst 2005 reader survey was released on 25 August. It is featured in the September/October issue of Travel + Leisure Golf on newsstands now.
