Aguilas, Estrellas and Escogido were the winning teams on the opening night of the local baseball season yesterday. Escogido beat Licey 6-5 in Santo Domingo. Winning pitcher was Jairo Garcia and Willis Robert was the loser. In Santiago, Aguilas beat Gigantes 3-2, Arnaldo Munoz won against Ramon Antonio Pena. In La Romana, Estrellas beat Azucareros 7-0.
