In paid ads in all today’s newspapers, the CDEEE has extended the deadline for tenders on the two coal-fired generation facilities to be placed in Azua and Manzanillo. The former deadline of 16 November has been extended to 31 November 2005. So far, 18 entities have obtained the tender offer for the large coal-fired units. Apparently, so far, none have handed in a bid.
