Altos de Chavon’s famous professors

The Altos de Chavon School of Design this year has again invited several world famous arts professors to be part of the 15 specialized one-week courses that make up Interin 2006 that started on 3 January and continue through 27 January.

This year there will be courses on graphic arts with Italian graphic designers Massimo Vignelli (designer of American Airlines and United Colors of Benetton corporate image), and Armando Milani (War & Peace design for UN 60th anniversary) who will share their secrets on graphic design. Others are Carlos Marquez from Venezuela in digital; and film experts Jane Malaquias (Brazil) will discuss cinema lighting techniques and Diana Bracho will speak on acting techniques for cinema. Enrique Nicanor of Spain will cover the development of audiovisual projects. Anthony Luciano, from New York, will be offering a course on handbag design; Paul Richnow will talk about landscape design. Other courses on this year’s program are drawing with Melanie Reim, final cut pro with Milton Ortiz, 3D architectural rendering with Roger Raffa, jewelry design with Rosemary Schock, flash-online promotion and guerrilla advertising course with Juan Jose Tejeda.
