US PresidentGeorge W Bush is expected to participate in the summit of heads of state and government members of the Central American Integration System (SICA) that will be celebrated 28-29 March in Casa de Campo, in La Romana, according to Foreign Relations Minister Carlos Morales Troncoso. Also expected are President Vicente Fox (Mexico) and Alvaro Uribe (Colombia) in addition to the heads of state of Panama, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala. This will be a warm up meeting prior to the country hosting the 36th General Assembly of the Organization of American States 3-6 June at Casa de Campo. Some 34 heads of state and government are expected for the event. This is the first time that a OAS General Assembly is held in the DR.
