Fuel sale schedule de-regulated

Yesterday, the government revoked the resolution restricting the sale of fuel at night and over the weekends, and instructions were transmitted to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce for the application of the decision. According to a report in Diario Libre, the resolution was revoked because the disproportionate increases in the prices of petroleum on the international market have stopped. The revoked resolution restricted the sale of fuel to a strict schedule of 6am to 8pm Monday through Friday, until 2pm on Saturdays and holidays, and until noon on Sundays.
