During 2005, the Banco de Reservas achieved RD$2 billion in net profits, equivalent to 75.9%. According to El Caribe, the institution’s assets reached RD$102.4 billion, a 27.3% growth compared to 2004. The bank’s general administrator defined these achievements as unprecedented, and stated that they consolidate the bank as the country’s leading financial institution. Total deposits in the bank are RD$87.269 billion, RD$18.363 billion higher than in 2004. The bank’s net credit portfolio is RD$53.780 billion, RD$8.843 billion higher than in 2004.
