Pepe formally accused by DA

Former President Hipolito Mejia’s security chief Lieutenant Colonel Pedro Julio “Pepe” Goico Guerrero, and former commander of the Third Brigade of the National Army, retired General Julio Rafael Molina Suazo, have been formally accused of laundering money derived from drug trafficking and complicity with Quirino Paulino Castillo by the District Attorney department. Diario Libre reports that the accusation is connected with two shipments of 2,845 kilos of cocaine seized in the DR and Puerto Rico. The case has been sent to a Judge of Instruction. Goico Guerrero is presently living in Spain, where he was allowed to relocate by the present Dominican authorities.
