San Francisco Giants’ slugger Barry Bonds arrived last night at Las Americas International Airport on his first visit to the Dominican Republic, as reported by Listin Diario. Bonds is on the list of several superstars who will take part in the Juan Marichal Golf Classic this weekend on the Metro Country Club and Guavaberry Country Club courses. Also on his agenda is a private dinner with President Leonel Fernandez at the Presidential Palace tonight.
