At least three of the six babies are ready to head home, according to doctors at the General Hospital at the Plaza de la Salud. Dr. Frank Martinez Cabruja, the head of pediatrics at the hospital said that they are just waiting for the babies to gain a little more weight. A picture in today’s Hoy newspaper shows all six of the tiny babies in the arms of the hospital staff. The Volunteers of the General Hospital have opened a “baby shower” list at the Multicentro La Sirena on Winston Churchill Avenue for those that wish to help out the family. The six were born a month ago and, according to the medical staff, “the children feed on demand, as much as they want and whenever they want.”
