The Licey Tigers have strung together a three-game winning streak at the best of times. They have now taken a 4-2 advantage in the final series and it is possible that the series will end tonight in Santiago. Last night the Tigres del Licey clobbered the relief pitchers of the Aguilas Cibaenas 13-5. The Aguilas had taken a 5-3 lead under the lead of star pitcher Jose Lima, but in the sixth inning the Tigres started to rally and neither reliever Efraim Valdez nor former major leaguer Brian Pulsifer could stop the attack. Licey rallied for three runs in the sixth and five more runs in the seventh inning to seal the game. Left fielder napoleon Calzado was the star for the Tigres with three runs batted in. Tonight’s game starts at 8:05 pm in the Estadio Cibao.
