The Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange will take place this year at the new Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from 5 to 7 April. DATE brings together international wholesalers, tour operators, incentive groups, airlines and charter operators, the buyers that meet and conduct business with the country’s leading tourism suppliers. It is also a prime time to make announcements to the press during the scheduled press conference sessions. DATE is organized by the National Association of Hotel & Restaurants (Asonahores).
Those attending will get a glimpse at Sol Melia’s new Paradisus Palma Real, an all-inclusive luxury hotel, built next door to the Melia Caribe Tropical, with 600 rooms, including 102 suites, and two presidential suites that have been set apart for even more luxury, with the personalized royal service program. Also on the premises is a 2,625 square meter spa. DATE is one of the first events to test the hotel’s new meetings facilities and 3,800-square meter hall in addition to other smaller halls. The banquet facilities can serve up to 1,000 persons for dinner.
