The majority of flights from Santo Domingo to New York, which had been suspended due to a snowstorm in New England, have now resumed. According to a report in Diario Libre, passengers who were stranded yesterday were later able to board their flights to New York and Washington. A snowstorm on Sunday caused all airports in New York to close and all domestic and international flights to and from those airports to be suspended. Aerodom’s Public Relations Director, Yolanda Manan reported that seven flights to and from New York are now back in operation.
