Chomsky talk in Santo Domingo

Noam Chomsky, one of America’s most prominent and outspoken political dissidents, will be speaking on “Latin America and US Foreign Policy” at the Foundation for Democracy and Development (Funglode) auditorium this Thursday, 9 March at 6:00pm. Admission is free, but note that parking is difficult. The event is being organized in coordination with Santo Domingo’s INTEC University.

A renowned professor of linguistics at MIT, Chomsky has authored over 30 controversial political books dissecting such issues as U.S. interventionist policies in the developing world, the political economy of human rights and the propaganda role of corporate media.
