Doors open for Pavel Nunez

Sharing the stage with Venezuela’s Franco de Vita has proved to be the break that Dominican contemporary singer/songwriter Pavel Nunez needed to get ahead internationally. Puerto Rico’s El Nuevo Dia reports favorably on his performance at the Coliseo Jose Miguel Agrelot, again with Franco de Vita. Doors opened this time in Puerto Rico and he was able to promote his recent CD, Atlantis, where he performs together with Gilberto Santa Rosa, Danny Rivera and Millie Quezada. Pavel told El Nuevo Dia that Franco has included him in his performances abroad, which has served to launch his international career. He says that De Vita’s influence has been a blessing. Pavel won a Casandra award in 2004, recognizing him as the best new artist of the year.
