IDB loans to Congress

The Executive Branch has submitted two loan contracts totaling US$15 million to the Senate, signed with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). The first loan is for US$10 million and is intended for the financing of phase one of the Labor Market and Social Transfer project aimed at improving participation in the workforce and fostering the distributed impact of investment in social aid. The second loan for US$5 million will be used in the Program for the Prevention of Disasters and Risk Management and is meant to help the country improve its capacity to reduce and manage risks before they turn into disasters.
