According to Armed Forces Minister Admiral Sigfrido Pared Perez, night flights by US helicopters on the Haitian border must first be notified to his ministry and he is investigating why there were night flights last weekend without any such notification. He explained that even during daytime flights, the helicopter pilots are accompanied by Dominican pilots who are in Barahona taking part in the New Horizon operations there.
