Customs seizes 110 cars

The Director General of Customs told the press yesterday that his office had seized 110 vehicles that had been fraudulently brought to the Dominican Republic by “unscrupulous” importers. According to Hoy, the importers had forged the documents of vehicles that had been declared “salvage” in the United States. Miguel Cocco told the reporters that the vehicles would be given over to the National Police for patrol duty.
