The First Fair of Scientific and Technological Innovations and Inventions takes place this weekend at the former Indotel offices on Av. Nunez de Caceres, in the San Geronimo sector of Santo Domingo. The governmental Instituto de Innovacion en Biotecnologia e Industria (IBII) and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (Seescyt) are sponsoring the event that is open to the general public this weekend. The competition to select the best inventions and exhibition of innovations was open to university students and independent persons.
