This Thursday, the European Union will meet with the 15 countries that compose CARIFORUM to plan strategies for European cooperation over the period 2008-2013. This seminar will determine the basis for the European Consensus on Development and the Millennium Objectives. The current situation in each country will be examined, as well as possible fields of intervention and the link between national and regional programming. This cooperation period, which will the tenth between the former African, Pacific and Caribbean European territories, contemplates the design of national programs in close relation with regional programs, according to a report by Diario Libre.
