The Dominican Annual Tourist Exchange (DATE) begins tonight at the Paradisus Palma Real Hotel, a part of the Sol Melia chain, in Punta Cana. This is the largest get together for the Dominican tourist industry and it is the opportunity for the hotels and tours to offer their wars to a huge audience. Over 150 hotels and tour operators from Europe and the Americas will be on hand to offer their services. The event ends on Friday.
